MTZ to supply 81 tractors to Georgia in 2021
MINSK, Jul 6 - PrimePress. The Minsk Tractor Plant OJSC (MTZ) and Georgian MAR-MOT LLC signed on July 6, 2021 an addendum to the contract on delivery of 48 tractors to the Georgian company worth approximately Br75 million ($29.58 million at the rate of National Bank of Belarus). The number of tractors to be supplied to Georgia in 2021 increased to 81, the MTZ’s press office reports. <br> <br> MTZ already delivered 22 of them in January-June 2021. <br> <br> Around 17,000 MTZ tractors are currently working in Georgia. They are manufactured, basically, with the use of Soviet technologies. <br> <br> MTZ was founded in 1946 and transformed in January 2014 into an open joint stock company 100% owned by the state registered on the State Register of Holdings on August 1, 2014. MTZ Holding, which includes 10 enterprises, produces tractors with a capacity ranging from 20 to 355 hp. End<br> <br>
