Mir payment system launches cross-border transfers to BELKART cards

The Russian National Payment Card System JSC (NPCS, operator of Mir payment system) is launching cross-border transfers to cards of Belarusian BELKART payment system, the NPCS reports.<br> <br> Cards of the two largest Belarusian banks-issuers–Belagroprombank and Belarusbank–are ready for that. Alfa-Bank, Russian Standard Bank, Sberbank and Tinkoff will be the first Russian banks to provide this service to their customers. The list of Mir and BELKART members that will provide the transfer service will expand, says the NPCS.<br> <br> Mir is the Russian national payment system.
