Belarus’ Development Bank offers pre-export crediting to resident cos
MINSK, Jul 15 - PrimePress. In pursuance of presidential decree No.534 on promoting exports of goods, works and services of August 25, 2006, the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus offers Belarusian companies opportunities of pre-export credits, the bank reports.<br> <br> Loans are available to residents (except for leasing companies) for production of goods approved by the government and other goods (works, services) for sale to non-residents of Belarus.<br> <br> The Development Bank offers funds at a low interest: in Belarusian rubles – 2/3 of the refinancing rate of the National Bank of Belarus (currently 8.5% per annum); in U.S. dollars and euros – at CIRR rate; in Russian rubles – 2/3 of the key rate of the Central Bank of Russia.<br> <br> The Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus was established in 2011 by presidential decree No.261 of June 21, 2011 to increase the efficiency of projects included in government programs, reduce the time of their implementation and cost recovery. It finances government programs on its own behalf and at its own expense on terms of urgency, payment and repayment. The state holds 96.224% in the bank’s statutory capital. End<br> <br>
