Ukrtransnafta extends contract with BelOil on Azerbaijani oil supplies to Belarus for 2021

Ukraine’s Ukrtransnafta JSC has extended for 2021 the contract with the Belarusian Oil Company CJSC (BelOil, the special exporter of Belarusian oil products) on supplies of Azerbaijani crude oil to Belarus, says head of Naftogaz oil division, Ukrtransnafta CEO Mykola Havrylenko. </p> <p> </p> <p> The contract terms remain unchanged. The contract with BelOil provides for Azerbaijani oil delivery in one sea tanker in the first 10 days of January 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic SOCAR supplied 1.038 million tonnes of crude oil to Belarus in ten sea tankers in January-October 2020, including 755,000 tonnes of Azeri Light and around 283,000 tonnes of oil purchased through oil traders. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belneftekhim said earlier that SOCAR could deliver up to 1 million tonnes of oil in 2020 through its subsidiary SOCAR Trading via the Yuzhny port of Odessa (Ukraine) and through Odessa-Brody pipeline to the Mozyr Refinery. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Belarusian Oil Company CJSC was established in May 2007. Belorusneft owns a 52% stake in the company, Naftan OJSC and Mozyr Oil Refinery OJSC own 24% each. BelOil exports oil products produced by its shareholders, and purchases and refines oil at the Belarusian refineries, having subsidiaries in Poland, Latvia, Great Britain, the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
