Ukraine to hold interim review of anti-dumping measures against imports of alloyed steel bars from Belarus

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine will conduct an intermediate review of anti-dumping measures against imports of bars made of carbon and other alloy steels originating from the Republic of Belarus. </p> <p> </p> <p> This information has been published in the Uryadovyi Kurier (Government Courier) newspaper with reference to the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade of Ukraine. </p> <p> </p> <p> The interim review of anti-dumping measures is related to violations of imports of these products and was initiated after a relevant complaint from ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih was analyzed by the interdepartmental commission. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, in January 2020 Ukraine introduced antidumping duties on imports of carbon and alloy steel bars from Belarus and Moldova for five years. </p> <p> </p> <p> The anti-dumping investigation was carried out following a complaint filed by ArcelorMittal Kryvyy Rih and found that companies from Belarus and Moldova had been supplying goods to Ukraine at prices lower than the Ukrainian producer.
