Ukraine to conduct antidumping investigation into potato starch import from Belarus

The Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine will conduct an antidumping investigation into imports of potato starch from Belarus, according to a message published by Ukraine’s Uryadovyi Kur'er (Governmental Courier) on 21 April 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> Reportedly, the antidumping investigation was initiated following a complaint filed by Vimal, a private enterprise (Chernihiv), and based on reports and findings of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. </p> <p> </p> <p> After analyzing the details, Ukraine’s authorities have determined that there is enough grounded evidence in the complaint to conclude that potato starch import from Belarus may have been carried out at dumping prices and the level of the dumping margin cannot be considered minimal and the import volume may not be considered insignificant.
