Ukraine to conduct antidumping investigation into asphalt imports from Belarus, Russia

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine will conduct an antidumping investigation into imports of certain asphalt or similar products originating from Belarus and the Russian Federation, according to a message published by Ukraine’s Uryadovyi Kur'er (Governmental Courier) on 21 April 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> Reportedly, the antidumping investigation has been initiated upon complaint of Ukrainian manufacturers AQUAIZOL LLC and ZAVOD OREOL-1 LLC, as well as on the basis of reports and findings of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Interdepartmental Commission found that imports into Ukraine of certain types of asphalt products or similar material originating from Belarus and the Russian Federation may have been carried out at dumping prices, and the level of the dumping margin cannot be considered minimal and the volume of imports may not be considered insignificant.
