Ukraine plans to ban electricity imports from Belarus, Russia till October 1

The National Commission for State Regulation in the Sphere of Energy and Utilities of Ukraine plans to ban imports of electricity fr om Belarus and Russia until October 1, 2021. The Commission will consider the issue on May 26, the regulator’s press service said. </p> <p> </p> <p> It is supposed to temporarily lim it the capacity for imports of electricity to Ukraine, which will be offered at monthly and daily auctions, in terms of interstate sections between Ukraine and states that are not members of the Energy Community, to 0 MW.
