Ukraine closes airspace for Belarus planes on May 29

Ukraine on May 29, 2021 closed its airspace for planes from Belarus after the forced grounding of a Ryanair aircraft in Minsk, the decision was taken at an extraordinary meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on May 28. </p> <p> </p> <p> Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal reported on May 25, Ukraine stopped air links with Belarus since May 26 following the incident with the Ryanair flight in Minsk.
