Total capacity of Belarus’ solar power plants amounts to 160 MW

The total capacity of Belarus-based solar power plants is 160 MW, and as of May 1, 2021 their total number reached 70, according to the press service of the Ministry of Energy. </p> <p> </p> <p> In January-April, 2021, about 40 million kWh of electricity was produced by solar power plants of Belarus. In 2020, their total output will amount to 175.2 million kWh. </p> <p> </p> <p> The largest photoelectric power plant with a capacity of 55 MW operates in Rechitsa District, Gomel Oblast. End </p>
