The tariff for transportation of natural gas through Belarus’ distribution pipework was increased by 18.6% to Br18.61 per thousand cubic metres, in accordance with resolution #22 of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) of Belarus as of March 31, 2021, the MART press service reported. </p> <p> </p> <p> "The tariff change is associated with the provision of compensation to the gas supplying organizations of economically justified costs for this type of activity,” reads the statement. </p> <p> </p> <p> MART claims that the tariff change will not affect the level of prices of natural gas for households and legal entities. </p> <p> </p> <p> The resolution will come into force after its official publication.
