Santa Bremor launches €11m automated warehouse in Brest

Santa Bremor JV LLC (Brest) has put into commercial operation an automated warehouse facility worth €11 million in Brest, the company’s press service said. </p> <p> </p> <p> The warehouse’s storage capacity is 12,000 pallets/storage area, designed for 11,000 tonnes of raw materials and finished products. The storage area is 2,900 sq m, and the logistics area is 2,160 sq m. The warehouses are equipped with ten gantries. </p> <p> </p> <p> The warehouses have four storage areas with two temperature ranges: minus 1°С- 0°С for chilled products; minus 24°С for frozen products. </p> <p> </p> <p> The project has a seven-year payback period. The investment will be recouped largely due to savings on leasing space in Klaipeda, Lithuania, where Santa Bremor has been storing an average of about 10,000 tonnes of raw materials. </p> <p> </p> <p> Santa Bremor JV LLC was registered on March 30, 1998. The company consists of six factories in Belarus (Brest) and Russia (Noginsk). Currently, the company produces more than 1,000 fish and seafood products. End </p>
