Russian companies to supply 1.64m tonnes of oil to Belarus in Dec 2020 – Belneftekhim

Russian oil companies will deliver 1.64 million tonnes of crude oil to Belarus in December 2020, as in November 2020, says the press office of Belneftekhim state petrochemical concern. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belneftekhim said earlier that 80,000 tonnes of Azeri Light oil will be supplied to the Mozyr Refinery in December 2020 (same as in November). </p> <p> </p> <p> According to the According to the Central Dispatch Center of the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Russian Federation, Russian oil supplies to Belarus decreased in January-November 2020 by 25.8% year on year to 11.8 million tonnes. </p> <p> </p> <p> Currently, Belarus is diversifying oil supplies to its two refineries (Mozyr Oil Refinery OJSC, Gomel Oblast, and Naftan OJSC, Novopolotsk, Vitebsk Oblast) after significant supply cuts in January-March 2020 due to price disagreements with Russia. Belarus receives Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline and by rail, and oil from alternative suppliers by sea through the ports of Klaipeda (Lithuania) and Odessa (Ukraine). This year, Belarus purchased oil from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Norway, Saudi Arabia and the United States. End </p>
