Russia’s TransCapitalBank and Promsvyazbank arrange €75 syndicated loan for Belagroprombank

Russia’s TransCapitalBank (TCB) and Promsvyazbank have acted as the authorized lead arrangers and bookrunners of a €75 million syndicated loan for Belagroprombank for one year with the possibility of prolongation for another year, the TCB press service said in a statement. </p> <p> </p> <p> Reportedly, the lead organizers of the syndicated loan are also Russia’s Roseximbank, International Finance Club, and Zenit Bank. </p> <p> </p> <p> “This is the 16th syndicated loan arranged by TCB for Belarusian banks. Thanks to these projects about €2 billion has been invested into the Belarusian economy in recent years,” said Yelena Shirinskaya, TCB board deputy chairperson. </p> <p> </p> <p> The press service of Belagroprombank reported that the syndicated loan was received on May 12, 2021. It has been Belagroprombank’s14th deal in the syndicated lending market. </p> <p> </p> <p> “The resources provided to the bank will be used to support foreign trade projects of the bank's clients,” said Belagroprombank. </p> <p> </p> <p> Registered in 1991, Belagroprombank is the second largest system-relevant bank in the country. Belarus, represented by the State Property Committee, holds the major share in the bank’s authorized capital - 91.34%. End </p>
