Russia’s FinMin still undecided on leftover balance of BelNPP construction loan

The Russian Ministry of Finance has not yet made a decision how to dispose of the leftover balance of the Russian government’s loan for the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant (BelNPP, Astravyets, Grodno Oblast), said deputy chairperson and member of the board of VEB.Russia Svetlana Yachevskaya on October 14. </p> <p> </p> <p> “There may be an extension to the deadline for further drawdowns on the loan. If this limit is still required for this contract, it is reasonable to lengthen it.
