The Belarusian Interior Ministry’s internal troops on 5 Dec 2021 entered the duty to protect the facilities of the start-up complex of Unit 2 of the Belarusian nuclear power plant (BelNPP, Astravyets, Grodno Oblast), which signifies that the general contractor (Russia’s Atomstroyexport) has fulfilled its contractual obligation to create a system of physical protection of the Belarusian nuclear power plant, the press service of the Russian state corporation Rosatom said in a release. </p> <p> </p> <p> An act confirming compliance of the physical protection system of the Belarusian nuclear power plant with all requirements of regulatory legal documents was signed by an interdepartmental commission on 26 November 2021, reads the statement.
