Priorbank starts issuing BelKart-Mir cards Jan 14

Belarus-based Priorbank OJSC has started issuing contactless payment cards BELKART-Mir on Jan 14, 2021, the bank’s press-service said in a release. </p> <p> </p> <p> The bank specified that the card is issued in Belarusian rubles for a four-year period. </p> <p> </p> <p> Priorbank is one of the largest banks in Belarus. Priorbank's main beneficial owner is Raiffeisen Landesbanken Holding AG (Austria), a subsidiary of Raiffeisen Bank International AG. It owns 87.74% of the bank’s shares. Through the State Property Committee and JSC Minsk Automobile Plant, the state owns 5.89% of the bank. A small portion of Priorbank shares (up to 1.57%) is distributed between other enterprises. The bank belongs to the Tier 1 group. End </p>
