Paritetbank to set limit on remote banking transactions from Nov 20

OAO Paritetbank will limit the number of remote banking transactions a customer can perform to 50 per day starting Nov 20, 2020, the bank’s press-service said in a statement. </p> <p> </p> <p> In addition, the minimum transaction amount shall stand at Br1 ($0.39 at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus). </p> <p> </p> <p> Paritetbank was established in 1991 under the name of Bank Poisk. In 2004 Bank Poisk changed its name for Paritetbank. Until recently Belarus’ government held a 99.83% stake in Paritetbank, while the remaining 0.17% of shares were held by more than 2,500 private owners. In Apr 2020 a 99.83% stake in Paritetbank was purchased by Beristore Holdings Limited, whose beneficiary owner is Said Gutseriyev. The remaining 0.1656% is owned by more than 2,500 private shareholders. End </p>
