NBB sets Nov’s standard deduction rate at 5.7%

The National Bank of Belarus (NBB) has set the November 2020 deduction rate at 5.7% to compare with 6.86% in Jan, 8.03% in Feb, 7.99% in Mar, 8.65% in Apr, 6.42% in May, 6.28% in Jun, and 6.57% in Jul, 8.29% in Aug, 8.24% in Sep and 6.97% in Oct 2020. </p> <p> </p> <p> The NBB makes regular updates of the standard deduction rate – a ratio of the value of securities purchased and issued by banks. </p> <p> </p> <p> The standard income tax deduction rate is used to calculate the value of assets drawn by banks and estimate the value of mandatory reserves.
