NBB reports sustained inflation expectations
<p> MINSK, Jun 11 - PrimePress. A poll conducted by the National Bank of Belarus in May 2020 has revealed that 53.8% of those interviewed expect inflation growth at its current during the next 12- month period. </p> <p> </p> <p> A similar poll conducted by the NBB in Feb 2020 demonstrated that the majority of those interviewed (60.5%) expected inflation to stay at the same pace. </p> <p> </p> <p> 19.3% of those polled reckon that consumer prices will grow faster than now, 21.5% - slower than now. </p> <p> </p> <p> The poll has revealed that private households perceived inflation at the level of 10.6% in May 2020, and at 10.9% in Feb 2020.
