<p> MINSK, Jan 29 - PrimePress. The National Bank of Belarus intends to continue in 2021 to actively support the economy by the banking system. Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Belarus (NBB) Dmitri Kalechits made a statement to this effect at an enlarged meeting of the National Bank on January 28. </p> <p> </p> <p> “The National Bank plans to focus on improving the conditions of credit and deposit operations, including through the introduction and use of new technologies, as well as to improve the implementation of banking and money transfer, documentary transactions, creating an environment that allows various categories of clients to receive banking services with maximum comfort,” reads the report. </p> <p> </p> <p> In 2021, the regulator will continue developing the non-banking segment of the financial market. The focus will be made on expanding leasing services and the funding base of leasing companies.
