NAIP identifies 26 most attractive projects for foreign investment
<p> MINSK, Dec 28 - PrimePress. The Belarusian National Agency of Investment and Privatisation (NAIP) has identified 26 Belarusian investment projects that may be of most interest to foreign businesses. The list is published on the NAIP website. </p> <p> </p> <p> The projects cover wood processing (establishment of a sawmill), tourism (opening of an ecotourism park), agriculture and food industry (plant protection system using drones, construction of a lupine processing plant, production of dried mare's milk), industry (construction of an oil and gas pipe plant) and other sectors. </p> <p> </p> <p> The projects cover all regions of Belarus: Brest Oblast (Kobrin, section of the international highway), Vitebsk Oblast (Orsha, Novopolotsk), Gomel Oblast (Gomel, Zhlobin, Zhitkovichi), Grodno Oblast (FEZ Grodnoinvest, Grodno), Minsk Oblast (Borisov, Logoisk, Smolevichi), Mogilev Oblast (Bobruisk, Mogilev, Khotimsk). </p> <p> </p> <p> In particular, the list includes a project to develop a perfume manufacturing plant (Grodno) and a project to produce electric scooters with custom features and automated charging stations for electric scooters (Smolevichi). </p> <p> </p> <p> NAIP experts also considered a project to set up a sawmill in Bobruisk attractive for attracting investment. The investment is needed to purchase a sawing line, a drying complex and equipment. The investment is estimated at $2 million. </p> <p> </p> <p> Also included in the list is a project to reconstruct the M-1/E30 motorway to the parameters of the first-class motorway.
