MTS operator offers Virtual PBX service to corporate clients for Br42-150 per month

Belarus’ telecom operator Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) has offered its corporate clients a service of integrated office telephony - Virtual PBX - for Br42-150 ($16.7-59.5 at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Belarus) per month, the company’s press service said. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Virtual PBX service replaces the physical office PBX and makes it possible to set up a call centre, with employees being able to work remotely. It combines landlines, mobile phones and computers into a unified telephone network that can be accessed via a web interface. All the necessary software is hosted by the operator in the cloud with round-the-clock support, allowing customers to save on the purchase, installation and maintenance of servers. </p> <p> </p> <p> The service is capable of transferring, holding and distributing calls, recording and storing calls, providing call reports, creating black and white lists, organizing conferences, and connecting an unlimited quantity of numbers, including those from other providers. </p> <p> </p> <p> MTS was registered in Belarus on April 4, 2002. The operator is a joint venture between Russia’s largest mobile operator Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) and Belarus’ Beltelecom operator. The companies hold respective stakes of 49% and 51% in the joint venture. </p> <p> </p> <p> MTS Belarus started providing GSM 900/1800 standard services on June 27, 2002; launched 3G revenue service in May 2010 and 4G revenue service in December 2015.
