MTS Belarus offers MTS SmartDoc e-document service for entities

Belarus’ telecom operator MTS (Mobile TeleSystems JLLC) has launched MTS SmartDoc electronic document management service for legal entities with a subscription fee of Br25-500 per 30 days ($9.6-192.8 at the National Bank of Belarus exchange rate). </p> <p> </p> <p> MTS SmartDoc service allows arranging electronic document flow via a web interface. Users can exchange electronic documents, use the MTS ID digital signature functionality or the USB device signature. The service allows customers to digitally sign an unlimited number of files in any format, deliver them to the recipient with confirmation, as well as store outgoing and incoming messages for 36 months from the date of the last payment for the service. </p> <p> </p> <p> The MTS SmartDoc lineup includes three services (Light, Standard and Business) with different functionality and costs. At the same time each of them allows exchanging an unlimited number of messages within the company. </p> <p> </p> <p> Customers can use the service free of charge for the first 30 calendar days. </p> <p> </p> <p> MTS was registered in Belarus on April 4, 2002. The operator is a joint venture between Russia’s largest mobile operator Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) and Belarus’ Beltelecom operator. The companies hold respective stakes of 49% and 51% in the joint venture. </p> <p> </p> <p> MTS Belarus started providing GSM 900/1800 standard services on June 27, 2002; launched 3G revenue service in May 2010 and 4G revenue service in December 2015.
