Belarusian MTBank CJSC completed the incorporation of Idea Bank on 31 October 202, </p> <p> </p> <p> This is stipulated in the National Bank of Belarus’ ordinance #309 of 26 October 2021, which came into force on 1 November 2021, said the Department of Information of the National Bank. </p> <p> </p> <p> The incorporation procedure has been completed: MTBank has become the legal successor in respect of all liabilities of Idea Bank, which cease to exist as a legal entity. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, MTBank CJSC purchased a 99.999% stake in Idea Bank from the Polish Getin Holding S.A. for Br50 million ($20.002 million at the rate of National Bank of Belarus) on Apr 1, 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> Idea Bank CJSC (Sombelbank until February 2013) was registered in April 2004. Getin Holding S.A. is its principal shareholder. </p> <p> </p> <p> MTBank CJSC was registered by the National Bank of Belarus in March 1994. It is one of the five Belarusian banks with its own processing centre for plastic cards. End </p>
