Mozyr Refinery to sustain supplies of road bitumen to Ukraine at 45-50 thousand tons during scheduled maintenance in June 2021

Mozyr Oil Refinery (Gomel Oblast) will keep the supplies of road bitumen to Ukraine during the scheduled maintenance in June 2021 at the level of 45-50 thousand tonnes, Ukraine’s enkorr has learnt from Oleg Protasov, Mozyr Refinery’ Deputy General Director. </p> <p> </p> <p> “Maintenance operations at the refinery will have no impact on bitumen supplies to Ukraine,” Protasov said. </p> <p> </p> <p> He noted that scheduled repairs of bitumen plants at the Mozyr refinery were carried out last winter, so now they will not be stopped. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to A-95 Consulting Group, in April 2021 Mozyr oil refinery increased bitumen supplies to Ukraine by 66% up to 55.2 thousand tons in April 2020. As of May 23, 2021, Mozyr refinery supplied 40.5 thousand tons of bitumen to Ukraine (in May 2020 - 46.7 thousand tons). </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, in 2020 Mozyr refinery increased bitumen shipments to the Ukrainian market by 40% year on year to 410 thousand tons.
