Lukashenko to discuss with Putin sales of Belarus’ goods in Russia
<p> MINSK, Jan 12 - PrimePress. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is going to discuss with Russian President Vladimir Putin sales of Belarusian commodities in Russia. He spoke about this on January 12, 2021 when hearing a report by Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Nazarov and Industry Minister Piotr Parkhomchik, the presidential press office reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> “This is a matter of principle for me. I will address the leadership of the Russian Federation with some questions of fundamental importance to assess the implementation of the cooperation and sales agreements we reached in Sochi [on September 14, 2020] at the level of the governments and the presidents,” the presidential press office quotes Lukashenko as saying. </p> <p> </p> <p> Lukashenko admitted the quality of commodities produced by some companies had deteriorated, judging by “filed complaints.” Parkhomchik said this mainly concerned recently marketed products. </p> <p> </p> <p> Lukashenko also spoke about the construction of a new nitrogen fertilizer production facility at Grodno Azot. “If we decide to build it, we will. It will be a backbone enterprise in next five-year period. Of course, it will not we will not build it for five years.
