Lukashenko signs ordinance to introduce public inspectors in Belarus

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on 10 Sep 2021 signed Ordinance #339 to introduce a system of public inspectors under the aegis of the State Control Committee (SCC), the president’s press service said in a release. </p> <p> </p> <p> The document says that Belarus citizens at least 25 years of age, who can provide assistance to controlling bodies due to their moral and business qualities, can become public inspectors. Public inspectors will perform these functions on a voluntary basis in their own free time. </p> <p> </p> <p> The State Control Committee will provide guidelines for the work of public inspectors.
