Gerasimov previously served as acting chairman of the SCC (since September 3, 2020) after SCC Chairman Ivan Tertel was appointed chairman of the State Security Committee (KGB) of Belarus </p> <p> </p> <p> Gerasimov has been working in SCC agencies since 2003.
