Lukashenko appoints Alexander Volfovich state secretary of Security Council
<p> MINSK, Jan 26 - PrimePress. On January 26, 2021, President Lukashenko appointed Alexander Volfovich state secretary of the Security Council, the presidential press office reports. Volfovich previously served as chief of General Staff, first deputy defense minister of Belarus. </p> <p> </p> <p> The position of state secretary of the Security Council had been vacant after Valery Vakulchik was appointed in October 2020 presidential assistant and chief inspector of the Brest Oblast after less than two months of service as state secretary.
