KamAZ, BMZ to cooperate in terms of steel supplies at 8-10 thousand tonnes a year

Russia’s KamAZ and Belarusian Steel Works (BMZ) intend to cooperate regarding the supply of 8-10 thousand tonnes of hot-rolled alloy round steel a year, KamAZ said in a release. </p> <p> </p> <p> BMZ representatives headed by Minister of Industry Pyotr Parkhomchik paid a visited to KamAZ. The delegation comprised CEOs of the leading enterprises of the machine-building cluster in Belarus. The guests, accompanied by Tatarstan’s Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, were welcomed by KamAZ CEO Sergey Kogogin and the company’s top managers. </p> <p> </p> <p> “The visit ended with negotiations on cooperation and development of cooperation with Belarusian companies. During the talks KamAZ and BMZ signed a letter of intent. The parties have announced an intention to establish long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation regarding the supply of round hot-rolled alloy steel in the amount of 8-10 thousand tons a year,” the statement said.
