Inflation in Belarus at 1.1% in Jan 2021
<p> MINSK, Feb 10 - PrimePress. Inflation in Belarus was at 1.1% in January 2021. Prices rose by 7.7% year on year, the National Statistics Committee of Belarus (Belstat) said in a report. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to Belstat, food prices increased by 6.6% year on year in Jan 2021 and by 1.5% from Dec 2020. </p> <p> </p> <p> Non-food prices were up 1.3% from Dec 2020, by 8.7% against Jan 2020. </p> <p> </p> <p> Prices and tariffs for-fee services increased by 0.3% in Jan 2021 against Dec 2020; up 8% from Jan 2020. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, inflation in Belarus was at 7.4% in 2020, the official forecast being 5%.
