Gomeltransneft Druzhba resumes oil pumping via Druzhba trunk oil pipeline in direction of Poland after maintenance

Gomeltransneft Druzhba, the Belarusian operator of the Druzhba trunk oil pipeline, has resumed oil transportation in the direction to Poland after conducting maintenance operations on the Belarusian segment of the pipeline on June 8-13. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, on June 9 Gomeltransneft Druzhba suspended oil transportation in the direction to Poland (Adamowo Zastawa) for 96 hours 9 for maintenance work at the Belarusian section of the pipeline. </p> <p> </p> <p> “Gomeltransneft Druzhba replaced a section of the Mozyr-Brest DN600 trunk oil pipeline from 8 to 13 June and conducted repair and maintenance of gate valves at oil pumping stations and the linear part of the oil pipeline,” reads the report. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Druzhba oil pipeline provides oil exports from Russia to Europe via two routes - northern (through Belarus, Poland, Germany, Latvia and Lithuania) and southern (through Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Croatia). </p> <p> </p> <p> Gomeltransneft Druzhba is the operator of the Druzhba trunk oil pipeline, The operator facilitates transits supplies of Russian and Kazakh oil through Belarus to Poland, Germany, Ukraine, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, as well as crude supplies to the Mozyr Oil Refinery (Gomel Oblast). Pipelines of the Novopolotsk branch deliver Russian oil only to Naftan. There has been no oil transit to the Baltic states since 2006. In recent years, the transit volume of Russian oil has been about 50 million tonnes per year. End </p>
