Germany’s MOSOLF Group considering container terminal project at FEZ Grodnoinvest

Germany’s logistics company MOSOLF Group is studying the logistics potential of Belarus’ Grodno Oblast and industrial sites at Grodnoinvest Free Economic Zone (FEZ) in order to build a container terminal. Grodnoinvest FEZ made a statement to this effect in a press-release. </p> <p> </p> <p> The prospects of building a container terminal was on the agenda for the meeting of Co-Chairman of the Belarusian-German Business Cooperation Council Felix Zimmermann and Jörg Mosolf, owner of MOSOLF Group. The meeting was held at the administrative office of FEZ Grodnoinvest. </p> <p> </p> <p> The meeting participants pointed out the fact that there are both narrow gauge and wide gauge railway tracks in Grodno Oblast, which allows logistics companies to carry out efficient delivery of goods from Asia to Europe and back. In addition, the Belarusian Railways is ready to assist in the implementation of the investment project, in particular, the railway station Bruzgi has the necessary technologies and capacities. </p> <p> </p> <p> MOSOLF Group, founded in 1955, is one of the leading suppliers of multimodal logistics services and solutions for the automotive industry in Europe, as well as the European supplier of electric trucks Tropos.
