ENERGO-OIL granted the exclusive right to import tobacco for IQOS – decree

<p> MINSK, Feb 17 - PrimePress. ENERGO-OIL has been given the exclusive right to import HEETS heated tobacco (EEU FEACN code 2403) for IQOS tobacco consumption systems by presidential decree No.45 of February 16, 2021 posted on the National Legal Internet Portal on February 17, 2021. </p> <p>   </p> <p> The state has the exclusive right to import these products into Belarus until December 31, 2028. </p> <p>   </p> <p> The decree comes into force upon its official publication. </p> <p>   </p> <p> IQOS was designed by Philip Morris International (PMI) and is available in nearly 60 markets worldwide. The company positions IQOS as a reduced-risk product for smokers and offers it as an alternative to cigarettes. </p> <p>   </p> <p> ENERGO-OIL CJSC has been operating since 2001, being mainly engaged in selling tobacco products, the hotel and restaurant business (based at Syabry branch), and doing business through MTBank CJSC. The company is the sole tobacco sales operator of the Grodno Tobacco Factory Neman and the official distributor of Philip Morris International, managing over 2,500 sales facilities and regional sales departments in each regional center of Belarus. </p> <p>   </p> <p> Philip Morris International was founded in 1847.
