EEU to work out procedure for applying navigation seals before Oct 2020

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Council instructed the EEC Board to draft before October 2020 jointly with the governments of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia) an international agreement on the application of navigation seals when transporting goods across two or more EEU member states, the EEC press office reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> EEC Customs Cooperation Minister Oleg Pankratov says the joint board of the EEU customs drew up a draft framework agreement on a unified transit system. The use of navigation seals has been tested. </p> <p> </p> <p> “Russia proposed to make the agreement more extensive and add a comprehensive approach to customs transit matters.
