EEC proposes setting 106 standards for meat and meat products

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) proposes to set 106 standards for meat and meat products that would ensure the compliance with technical regulations, including 96 before 2023 and ten before 2024, reads the EEC draft resolution posted on the legal portal of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). </p> <p> </p> <p> According to the draft, 55 standards will be developed by Russia, 24 by Belarus, six by Kazakhstan, three by Armenia and two by Kyrgyzstan. Standards for the content of substances in meat and meat products will be worked out by each country. </p> <p> </p> <p> The draft will be put up for public consultation from November 25 to December 25, 2020.
