EEC extends subsidizing terms for jointly produced commodities for 2 years
<p> MINSK, Nov 23 - PrimePress. The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has extended for two years the period of admissibility of specific subsidies for promotional support for industrial goods recognized as jointly manufactured by the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), the EEC press office reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> This was stipulated on June 21, 2019 by EEC Council resolution No.100. It sets the minimum input by member states’ co-producers at 15%. </p> <p> </p> <p> In accordance with the 2017 agreement on the voluntary harmonization of specific subsidies in respect of industrial goods, authorized bodies of the member states may apply to the EEC for a specific subsidy. The state insures the recipient from the risk of a compensatory measure (transfer of the subsidy with interest to the state budget). </p> <p> </p> <p> The harmonization of industrial subsidies is carried out by the EEC based on the acceptability and inadmissibility of specific subsidies, one of which is aimed at supporting industrial goods recognized as jointly produced by member states. </p> <p> </p> <p> The procedure for the recognition of goods as jointly produced by the EEC states was approved by the EEC Board resolution No.93 of June 11, 2019.
