EEC backs proposal to set up EEU insurers council
<p> MINSK, Mar 17 - PrimePress. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) supports the proposal of the All-Russian Union of Insurers (ARUI) to establish a Council of Insurers of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia). Assistant Chairwoman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Iya Malkina made an announcement to this effect at a briefing on March 17. </p> <p> </p> <p> As it was reported, on March 15, 2021 the All-Russian Union of Insurers suggested creating a Council of Insurers of EEU countries as a collegial consultative body, which could promote integration of insurance markets of the member countries, harmonization of laws of EEU countries, building of information interaction.
