EEC approves sanitary and epidemiological recommendations to prevent COVID-19 spread

The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has approved sanitary and epidemiological recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the press office of the Commission reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> “The recommendations will give an opportunity to apply these measures in accordance with the current epidemiological situation in the EEU member states, including in the context of new restrictive measures in one of the member states aimed at stabilizing the epidemiological situation, or gradual lifting of previously imposed restrictions,” reads the statement. </p> <p> </p> <p> The EEC proposes the organization of green corridors at the customs border and in the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), which includes preventive and disinfection measures at filling stations, maintenance parks and rest and catering facilities for drivers. </p> <p> </p> <p> It is recommended to arrange “entry filters” with thermometry, personal protection and sanitizing means, observing the social distancing rules, using disposable tableware, and ventilation of premises.
