EEC accords with extension of state regulation of prices of respiratory protection means in Belarus until Oct 4, 2020
<p> MINSK, Jul 8 - PrimePress. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Board coordinated the extension of the state regulation of prices of respiratory protective means (masks and disinfectants) in Belarus for 90 days fr om July 7 to October 4, 2020, the EEC press office reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, Belarus introduced the temporary state regulation of prices of such means for 90 days, from April 8 to July 6, 2020. This includes a lim it on the standard of profitability for manufacturers, the maximum importers’ markup, maximum wholesale markup to manufacturers’ selling prices, and trade markups (with wholesale markups) to manufacturers and importers’ selling prices. </p> <p> </p> <p> This was done considering increased demand, shortages experienced by healthcare institutions, pharmacy chains and households. The EEC’s decision will help maintain stable prices on the domestic market of Belarus, and prevent unreasonable price increases by manufacturers and/or importers, reads the report. End </p>
