COVID-19: Belarus lifts self-imposed isolation requirement for visitors from 22 December

Belarus has abolished the self-isolation requirement due to COVID-19 for those arriving from abroad starting 22 December, the press service of the State Border Committee of Belarus informs with reference to a resolution of the Council of Ministers. </p> <p> </p> <p> The new rules take effect at 00:00 on 22 Dec. </p> <p> </p> <p> At the same time, persons who have already received a self-isolation requirement before the resolution came into force are obliged to comply before the expiry of the self-isolation period. </p> <p> </p> <p> This decision is due to the low incidence of COVID-19 infection among persons arriving in Belarus from the “red zone” countries, the press service of the Ministry of Health of Belarus said.
