Council of CIS Prime Ministers to consider long-term economic cooperation
<p> MINSK, Nov 4 - PrimePress. The Council of Prime Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will discuss on November 6, 2020 long-term economic cooperation between the CIS member states, says the press office of the CIS Executive Committee. </p> <p> </p> <p> The online meeting will be chaired by Uzbekistan. The parties will consider economic cooperation and an action plan to implement the first stage (2021-2025) of the CIS Economic Development Strategy for the period to 2030. </p> <p> </p> <p> They plan to sign without discussion a number of preliminarily agreed documents in the field of atomic energy use for peaceful purposes, innovations and the quality of life of war veterans, participants in local conflicts and their families, two agreements to regulate cross-border transportation of radioactive materials and digital development, and two concepts of interregional and cross-border cooperation and cooperation in the agricultural engineering sector. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Council also plans to approve an action plan under the CIS transport security strategy for 2020-2025 and high-priority humanitarian cooperation measures in 2021-2022.
