<p> </p> <p> MINSK, Feb 4 - PrimePress. China is donating 222 million yuan (about $35 million) for the construction of 20 social houses with a total area of more than 66,000 square metres. An agreement to this effect was signed by Belarus' Economy Minister Alexander Chervyakov and Chinese Ambassador to Belarus Xie Xiaoyong. </p> <p> </p> <p> The agreement provides for erecting 58 apartment buildings with 4.452 thousand apartments, which will be built in three stages. </p> <p> </p> <p> The first stage of the project was in 2017, when they built 1.432 thousand welfare apartments in 16 houses in five regions of Belarus with a total area of 80.4 thousand square metres.
