China-Belarus Great Stone Park, Swiss BUSS conferring about cooperation prospects

The China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone and the Swiss Industrial Park BUSS are determined to promote cooperation in the sphere of mutual capital raising, organisation of joint events and establishment of contacts between resident companies. </p> <p> </p> <p> The industrial parks have held relevant consultations in the framework of BUSS Development Company CEO Hermann Beyeler’s visit to the Great Stone Park. </p> <p> </p> <p> Beyeler said: “Our partners – not only Swiss private companies but also companies from Germany, Austria, and Liechtenstein – are interested in developing their business in the Eurasian Economic Union. We have taken a closer look at the opportunies available at the Great Stone and are ready to convey the information to interested private companies.” </p> <p> </p> <p> Great Stone representatives noted that cooperation with BUSS would offer an opportunity to residents of the China-Belarus industrial park to reach highly developed markets. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone is located near Minsk International Airport on an area of 112.5 square kilometres. The park’s special privileged legal regime is valid until 2062. Priority areas to be developed in the park are electronics, biomedicine, fine chemistry, engineering and others. The declared amount of investment for residents is at least $5 million (at least $500,000 in the case of a research project or if the project is implemented within the first three years). Land in the park may be sold to private owners. There are 65 companies from 15 countries registered as Great Stone residents, with a total investment exceeding $1 billion. End </p>
