BUTB ships $2.6 million worth of timber to Chinese market

The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUTB), sold sawn timber worth $2.6m during a special trading session on March 3, 2021 with delivery to a destination on the territory of China. The BUTB press-service told PrimePress. </p> <p> </p> <p> Due to the price increase during the trading session the Belarusian exporters gained additional revenue of $220,000, the BUTB message says. </p> <p> </p> <p> Special trading sessions for selling timber to overseas customers with delivery in containers to a destination in the buyer’s country have been held at BUTB since December 2020. In January-February 2021, the company sold sawn timber to China worth about $5 million. End </p>
