MINSK, Mar 24 - PrimePress. Business unions are ready to inform public bodies about the consolidated position of the business sector on all urgent problems, which will ensure reasonable security for businesses.
Chairman of the Republican Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE) Alexander Shvets made a statement to this effect at the round table “Business Communications in a Time of Turbulence. Can business be beyond politics?” on March 24.
Shvets agreed with the participants in the discussion that today the country needs to create a platform for a dialogue between business and representatives of the state authorities.
In his words, the formal structure of the dialogue with the authorities does exist, but in terms of results it always left much to be desired. “… I do not always understand the priorities of our partners in the public bodies. It seems to us that the actions of our partners, the public sector and the private sector should contribute to the growth of economic indicators. But sometimes we see from the actions of our partners that it is not logically so,” Shvets said.
In his words, today with the turbulence in the state agencies, “sometimes the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing”.
In addition, society has a deep internal psychological mistrust in the actions of the authorities. “My impression is that today state agencies work in a radio format, that is, they are in front of a microphone and tell us something. But, as you know, radio has no feedback,” noted Shvets.
“The mission of business unions in these difficult times is to communicate the accumulated position of private business to partners in public bodies without putting these businesses under the millstone,” said Shvets. End
