BUCE opens dedicated trading in lumber from non-resident companies from 14 September
<p> MINSK, Sep 13 - PrimePress. The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) has introduced a new commodity group – “lumber offers by non-residents of Belarus” under the category of trading in lumber products for external markets, the BUCE press-service informed. </p> <p> </p> <p> “Previously, lots with "non-Belarusian" lumber products were placed in the same register as offers from domestic woodworkers, which created certain difficulties for potential buyers. The separation into a separate group of lumber put up for sale by non-resident companies will make them more visible and thus increase the likelihood of transit deals.” </p> <p> </p> <p> The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) was established in 2004, the first trading session was held on June 2, 2005. As of Aug 1, 2021, 26,474 companies (including brokers’ customers), including 5.283 thousand non-residents, were accredited on the exchange. End </p> <p> </p>
