Belorusneft’s crude oil output up 1.6% in Jan-Nov 2021 to 1.588m tonnes

Belorusneft (Rechitsa, Gomel Oblast) – Belarus’ sole producer of crude oil – says its crude output increased by 1.6% year on year in January-November 2021 to 1.588 million tonnes, Belstat reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> In January-November 2021, oil production through hydraulic engineering measures increased by 16.1% year on year to 290,539 tons; production from new wells and sidetracks increased by 7.7% to 138,491 tons. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, Belarus increased oil output in 2020 by 1.2% against 2019 to 1.71 million tonnes. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belorusneft was founded in 1966. The company specializes in exploration works, oil extraction, gas processing, and offers a wide range of seismic exploration operations. </p> <p> Belorusneft provides oil extraction services in Russia, Ukraine, Venezuela and Ecuador, facilitates crude supplies to the Belarusian oil refineries (Mozyr Oil Refinery, Gomel Oblast, and Naftan OJSC, Novopolotsk, Vitebsk Oblast) on a give-and-take basis.
