BelOil’s diesel export to Ukraine up 31.6% in Nov 2020

The Belarusian Oil Company CJSC (BelOil), which controls exports of Belarus’ petroleum products, increased diesel fuel export to Ukraine by 31.6% year on year in November 2020 to 251,400 tonnes, enkorr portal reports citing data of the A-95 Consulting Group (Ukraine). </p> <p> </p> <p> The report points out that the significant increase in supplies of Belarusian diesel fuel to Ukraine in November 2020 was due to the schedule for meeting annual contractual obligations, as due to problems with Russian oil deliveries to Belarus in the first quarter of 2020, contracts were only fulfilled to a 50% level. </p> <p> </p> <p> Under long-term contracts, BelOil committed to supply about 180,000 tonnes of fuel to Ukraine on a monthly basis in 2020, excluding spot sales. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, BelOil plans to increase supplies of diesel fuel to Ukraine under long-term contracts by 8.5% year on year in in 2021, to 2.1 million tons. As a result, monthly supplies will increase to 200,000 tonnes. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Belarusian Oil Company CJSC was established in May 2007. Belorusneft owns a 52% stake in the company, Naftan OJSC and Mozyr Oil Refinery OJSC own 24% each. BelOil exports oil products produced by its shareholders, purchases and refines oil at Belarusian refineries. The company has subsidiaries in Poland, Latvia, the UK, Russia and Ukraine. End </p>
